Denim Diapers

Oh what fun us "Daycare Mommas" have with our babies! Blaire had a great idea that we should put all the babes in the Denim Huggies Diapers for a little Friday photo shoot. We all gathered at daycare today at 11:30am for the big show! haha and a show it was...
Here is Mac before the official shoot.



A couple of the other babies, Isaac and Emma, and Mac before the group shot! We sat them together and they promptly scattered!


So we hearded them back up...


Isaac and Mac deciding if sharing was a good idea... I think they decided it was not a good idea at this time.


And the Grand Finally... The Group Shot! The babies were happy playing in groups but we got them together for the big picture and half of them started crying! Oh and the other half tried to crawl away. Hahaa.
We put them down...

And then the not so happy babies were scooped up and settled down by their Moms...


Mac was just hanging out. He was one of the ones that hit the floor crawling when we grouped them up...


We managed, sadly not before some Moms left, to get a group picture of the Daycare Mommas and babies...

So much fun!! What a great group of Moms that I get to see everyday!! I can't wait until the next "Photo Shoot Friday" a.k.a PSF! Thanks Blaire for the awesome idea and thanks Julianna for getting the diapers!!

My Little Helper

Last night as I was cleaning up while cooking supper I had a helper beneath my feet, at times quite literally. He "helped" me load the dishwasher and by load I mean I put everything in and made sure that it was not with in his reach because he was trying to take everything out of the dishwasher. But it was cute none the less so I grabbed the camera!





AND this morning on the way to work/daycare Mac fell asleep holding onto his toy Mr. Wiggles. He has done this before but I had my camera this time... so cute.

Wordless Thursday?

(Ok so I forgot to bring my camera with me to work yesterday and couldn't download the pictures I wanted to use for "Wordless Wednesday". Yes, I could have gone to my picture arsenal, Snapfish, and come up with something cute of Mac but I wanted to wait. I remembered the camera today and have the pictures ready to post!)

Start Weight (7/8): 206 lbs
Last Week: 193 lbs
This Week: 191 lbs

Two pounds! I'll take it!! I think right now I am losing inches too, well one or two maybe. I tried on a pair of work slacks and I think if I lose 5 more pounds they can be added back into the wardrobe rotation! I also found some work capri slacks this morning in my closet and they fit now too! So yay! I am so happy to have another pair of pants to wear because that means I am closer to retiring the old, worn out, tired, seriously irritating gaucho pants that I have been sporting for way too long; practically everyday since getting pregnant and not able to fit into MY clothes! (I know my Mom will be happy to see them go! haha)

Now, I am leaving tomorrow afternoon to go to the beach with some girlfriends and that means two things: I will miss my Friday run and I will be snacking all weekend. I am ok with that but I am really going to try and keep my snacking to a minimum and in lieu of my run possibly a long walk on the beach!!

That said I would like to post to the weigh in next Thursday around 188/189 but we shall see!

8 Months Old Today

Today is Mac's 8 month birthday. I can already tell that this whole "Mac's Birthday" thing is not going to set well with me. I am already depressed every year about my impending day of doom but seriously how am I supposed to handle another one!! I can't believe my little, tiny, itsy-bitsy, bouncing baby boy is 8 MONTHS OLD! {excuse me while I locate the box of tissues} UGHH...

But, alas, it is true. Today is the 17th and eight months ago I (we) were blessed with the most amazing gift. Mac.

Here are some 8 month highlights:
~ crawling everywhere!
~ pulling up on everything! (sometimes pantsing me in the process!)
~ he has added the LaLaLa's to his vocabulary list.
~ he has eaten english peas, squash, okra, mangos, peaches, sweet potato, butternut
squash and green beans.
~ over the next couple of weeks he will try for the first time: chicken, avocado and
banana
~ he is wearing size 4 diapers and size 18 month clothes... both are a little big
but he is in between sizes now.
~ he weighs at least 23 pounds.
~ he loves playing with the springy door stops
~ his favorite toy is the base of the stacking rings


Mac, I love you so much but please stop growing so fast. You're making Mommy sad and good boys don't want to make Mommy sad... Right? dang.
