College Game Day PSF

Today was our College Game Day photo shoot at daycare that the DayCare Mommas planned. It is always more about the Moms than about the babies, we just have too much fun getting together to take pictures!

Here are a few that I was able to get...

Gabe and Mac... Gabe was a little daring in his bib choice for today (I had a talk with his mother about this). ;)

Mac... who would not sit still for me and when he was still he would not look at me! I hope one of the other camera clad moms got a good one.
Mac and Jack... Jack is an LSU supporter.
Too cute for words Addison and her Texas State Bobcat apparel.

The group, from the left: Evelyn, Eli, Addison, Mac, Gabe, Issac, Linley, Jack and Emma. Emma was representing UNT but literally two minutes before the group picture... she had a massive blowout and the shirt had to be put away.
MacAttack
Small breakdowns often occur on picture day.
Cutie Issac just wanted his lunch!
Mac and Eli
Such great babies and fun mommas at daycare!

More pictures to come!

Weekly Weigh In - Week 15 (wk 11 for me)

I am linking up with Dani over at My Little Apricot for my Weekly Weigh-In. Click the button below to go to her blog and read about it.

My Little Apricot

Well it's that time again. Weigh in time! And I am definitely excited about what the scale told me this morning!! I said I wouldn't take another picture of my scale but I had to today haha.

Start Weight (7/8): 206 lbs
Last Week: 194 lbs
This Week: 189 lbs

Goal Weight by Dec: 178 lbs
Goal Weight Overall: 165 lbs

I think the key was not pigging out this weekend. The last few weeks of traveling have really effected my weight but being at the house this weekend was good. We did tailgate but I didn't really eat much, just snacked on the veggie tray and had the obligatory pulled pork sandwich and hot dog (with pulled pork and baked beans on it!! haha).

I am excited, it is much needed motivation. I also was able to fit into another skirt this week and I dared to try on one of my work skirts... it's tight, I look like a stuffed sausage but I can zip it up!!

Swim Time

Sunday after church Jimmy suggested that we take Mac down to our community pool. So we did! It was Mac's first time in a pool and I'm not sure he knew exactly what to think but after a while he settled in and enjoyed himself.

Jimmy got in the big pool with him first but Mac didn't really know what to do and kept trying to get down.

We got him out and took him to the little splashy pool with all the waterfalls, fountains and water guns and he seemed to like that more. He could sit and splash and kept trying to grab the water coming out of the spout.

We didn't stay too long but now we know Mac likes the water. We are going to have to get him a float so he can kick around.

UT Tailgate

This past Saturday was UT's first home game and we kicked off the home season right! We went to our friend's tailgate on campus and had a great time. Mac really enjoyed the first UT home game festivities! He was such a trooper too. It was warm and pretty humid but he didn't complain at all. I, of course, forgot the camera in the car and was not about to walk back and get it but we did manage to get a couple pictures with Jimmy's phone.

Mac wanted to make sure he didn't miss out on the fun so he took a pre-tailgate nap.

Me and Mac!

First Family Tailgate Picture :)

Poor Mac is teething and he found out he liked the cold cans, so he tried to chew through them...

We had a great time and can't wait to watch the game this Saturday!!

Say Hello to Eppi

Meet Eppi, the 2006 Ford Expedition (I know I told some of ya'll it was a 96' but I misheard my husband). She is the truck that will be assuming, NOT replacing, the duties of my former MARCIPmobile. We are all adjusting nicely to the new vehicle arrangement and I can already tell we are going be happy together. Eppi has quite large shoes to fill but so far she is settling in and handling the pressure very well.

She does come with a warning, one that was also expressed by my Dad "be careful driving, this won't be as nimble as your Mustang". I saw Eppi's warning this morning, it's on the visor. I laughed when I saw it, I already knew this but it was funny to see in print and see the mini-Eppi tipping over. (the picture was taken with my phone so it's blurry)

"Avoid Abrupt Maneuvers And Excessive Speed." BOOOOO

That definitely confirms no more Traffic Checkers. The MARCIPmobile and I used to play Traffic Checkers on long trips. I would look ahead in a trafficy spot and see where my "jumps" would be and then she would expertly execute the "jumps". In and out of traffic, smooth as glass. It was fun... ahh good times.

We are proud to call Eppi a member of the family, she fits right in! Mac loves her. He gets to ride in the middle of the back seat where he is safer and he sits higher so he can see more of what is zooming past the window. He promptly fell asleep when I brought him home in Eppi yesterday so I took that as a good sign, they are comfortable with each other.

Here's to the new adventures we will have with you Eppi! Welcome Home.

Weekly Weigh In - Week 14 (wk 10 for me)

Well I have no picture. I am sick of looking at my scale and refuse to take another picture of it until it is replaced! And I really didn't like what it said this morning either!

I gained weight! I missed my Friday and Monday running because Mac and I were traveling, yesterday I didn't run because of trading in cars and I was stressed and just wanted to go home. And my husband brought home cheesecake??!! It's not even that good but has it stopped me... NO!!!!

Here are my stats... I should be happy it's only a pound! :) And I did start doing some crunches, squats, and pushup's on Wednesday. I am hoping to make that a routine while watching tv at night, mini-workouts during commercial breaks!
Start Weight (7/8): 206 lbs
Last Week: 193 lbs
This Week: 194 lbs
Goal Weight by Dec: 178 lbs
Goal Weight Overall: 165 lbs

I haven't really talked about my goal (or I don't think I have) but I want to get back to pre-prego weight. When I got pregnant I was 178. My goal for the end of the year is to loose 25 pounds. I want to get down to 165 pounds, before I got pregnant that was my goal. It is going to be hard to get down that low but I think it's doable. I don't remember what I weighed in High School but I think it was 160 so I have been that low before but I was young and athletic, now I'm just old and lethargic!! haha!
I really need to stay focused and I can reach my 178 by the end of December which would be awesome!! Especially since the Texas Session starts in January and I have to start "dressing up" for work and all my work clothes are size 12 and I simply refuse to by a new wardrobe to accomodate my flab!
