Two Hundred and Six

I am linking up with Amy over at Marvelous Mommy for my Weekly Weigh-In. Click the button below to go to her blog and read about it.

I have been following a "Mommy Blog" that I randomly came across, Loving My Life, and Sarah (the Mommy) posted on her blog one Thursday her weight!! I read her post and clicked the link to the blog that was hosting the "Weekly Weigh-in" and thought how cool! What a great way to stay accountable for what I eat each week and to make me think twice about skipping a workout. So I am going to join in and post my weight too. So, drum roll please, here it is... my weight...

Scary, huh? My goal is to get back to my pre-baby weight of 178lbs and then lose 8 more pounds to make it an even 170. Since Mac was born I have lost about 30 pounds or so (yes I gained a ridiculous amount of weight while preggo). I have started back running 3 times a week. Right now I run a total of 9 miles and in a couple of weeks I plan on moving that number up to 12. I really enjoy running and that's how I lost my weight before Mac came along but now I seem to have less energy and it's harder to stay motivated and that's where this Weekly Weigh-In comes in. I am extremely competitive and even though this weigh-in is not a competition I am always happy to compete against myself! So in theory trying to beat my weight lose each week should be easy and fun, a proper challenge for someone like ME!

And!! Participating in the weigh-in will help me on my Project 101 List #82 (lose 25 pounds by the end of the year) and it will start me on my way to crossing off #81 (post to weekly weigh in)!!

Now I am behind by 5 weeks on this weigh-in and I think they are doing it for a year but I say better late than staying over weight!

PS. Please excuse the awful scale I am using. Bear with me, #80 on my 101 List is to get a new, good bathroom scale!!

  1. Don't feel bad - I gained a ridiculous amount of weight during my pregnancy, too. I jumped from 140 to 199 (and then to 215 post-birth)! I'm only down to 204 now, it's tough, but I can't wait to lose some of these weight. Good luck!!!

  5. I would love a new scale too. Mine is so old and hard to read so maybe we both will get one soon. You are doing wonderfully. Your little one is so beautiful. Keep up the great work, I know you can do it.
