18 Months

Last Friday Mac turned 18 months old. Today we went for his 18 month (and 15th month) well check. Yes we had to combine them. Poor little dude had 3 shots and a finger pricked. I didn't take my phone in so I don't have any pictures from the office but he was so cute. He played with the puzzles for a while and then he just wanted to sit in my lap. The doctor was running behind but I didn't care! We sat for so long just bouncing and snuggling :)

This little dude... who was rightfully tired after the hour long doctor visit and 3 shots...


Is in the upper 95th percentile for height and weight and in the 90th percentile for head circumference.

Height: 35 inches (almost 3 feet tall!)
Weight: 33 pounds 7 ounces
Head Circ: 49.5 centimeters

He walks, runs, walks backwards.
He babbles and can point to the things he wants or wants to show us.
He can climb onto anything!
He can feed himself with a spoon.
He loves pretending he is talking on the phone and hugging his stuffed froggy.
He can scribble the best pictures!
He understands when we tell him to do something.
--That doesn't mean he follows directions everytime! haha
And when he wants to he can show you his nose, mouth, eyes, ears, head and belly.

He is doing everything he is supposed to be doing at this stage. He doesn't talk yet but neither the doctor or myself are concerned at this point. He will talk when he's ready and then I won't have a moments silence! :)


When he got to school he was pretty clingy but I can understand why. It was a big morning. He did get to eat lunch right away and he dove right in!
